Service Learning

This May Session, 23 students and 4 Student Life staff traveled to London, England, and Edinburgh, Scotland, on a service learning trip as part of a HESA course. During the experience, students volunteered at North London Action for the Homeless, met with the League of British Muslims and spent the day with staff and students from the University of Edinburgh learning about their ongoing sustainability efforts to create an affordable and ecologically responsible campus experience. Another fun highlight included a tour of Stonehenge. The course instructors are Student Life’s Julius Mayo, Julie Sanzone and Paul Wojdacz.
