Pelotonia Corn Hole Tournament
Sign-ups continue through July 10 for the Student Life Pelotonia Corn Hole fundraiser. Spaces are still available, so show your support and join other teams from Student Life in the fight against cancer!
The tournament will run from July 22--July 31 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with brackets and game times to be determined after the sign up period. The minimum donation is $10/per team.

Encourage students to apply for a JobReady internship this fall! The JobReady for Ohio Industry Internships & Co-Ops program aims to connect currently enrolled students with employers in industries such as energy, automotive, information technology, and financial services. Students can build their resume and gain real-world experience with a paid internship. They can apply today at go.osu.edu/jobreadyohio!
Generation Rx University Conference
The second annual Generation Rx University Conference, co-sponsored by Student Life’s Student Wellness Center, will be held at Ohio State (The Blackwell) on August 7-8, 2013. The event will provide information and resources for collegiate prescription drug abuse prevention and student recovery. College students, faculty, Student Life staff members, administrators, counselors, student health professionals, and others are invited to come together toward the goal of developing take-home plans for prevention/recovery programming at their college or unit.
Open Doors Facilitators Needed
Are you an Open Doors Partner and want to take your involvement in the program to the next level? If so, become an Open Doors Facilitator by attending our Train the Trainer session on Wednesday July 17, 2013, from 8 a.m.-5.p.m. in the Multicultural Center in the Ohio Union. Please RSVP to Brittany Woodley (email@example.com) by no later than July 10.
Open Doors is an anti-bias training program coordinated by the Student Life Multicultural Center, working to address and eliminate bias at the Ohio State University.
Rec Sports Holiday Hours
In observance of Independence Day, all Rec Sports facilities will be closed Thursday, July 4, except the Adventure Recreation Center, which will be open from 1–5 p.m. In addition, no group fitness classes will be held.
Parking Permits Now on Sale
Annual parking permits for Ohio State faculty, staff, and students are now available for purchase. CampusParc is encouraging customers to purchase their permit online at osu.campusparc.com. Beginning with the 2013-14 permit year (Aug. 1-July 31), CampusParc will introduce new Permit-by-Plate technology that will eliminate traditional hangtags.
Student Life Celebration
New this year to Student Life Celebration (Wednesday, July 10): WIPEOUT! Similar to the TV show, a course will be set up in the competition pool at McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion. Please bring appropriate pool attire to participate. Showers will be available for use in RPAC. No pre-sign up needed.
